Welcome to the Wales Women's Lacrosse Site



We are a team of ambitious and hardworking individuals, currently training towards the 2024 European Championships in Portugal. Wales have medalled at the last five European Championships and we have our sights set firmly on a medal in 2024. Having the right training and coaching environment will be crucial to our success.

The 2023/2024 Road to the European Championships involves:

10 training weekends in Cardiff

A tour to Scotland and Durham in October

A tour to Boston in February where we will face up against seven different college teams

Home Internationals in Cardiff, Wales, 5-7 April 2024

Exhibition matches against England, Czech Republic and Netherlands, amongst others

European Championships in Braga, Portugal, 10-20 July 2024

The European Championships, including the build-up, will cost each player in the region of £6,000. For 22 players this equates to a total of £132,000. This covers the costs of coaching, facilities, travel, tours and kit.

We are a team of 22 full-time workers and students trying to live our dreams. We would be incredibly grateful for any and all support you are able to give through donations, children attending our lacrosse camps, purchasing merchandise, match tickets, raffle tickets and auction items, partnership opportunities, shop via our EasyFundraising site, or indeed through any other means. Please also do reach out if you have any further suggestions, ideas, or contributions.

All money raised will go towards reducing each player's costs for the 2023-24 season. All money will be split equally between each squad member. Please note, individual donations or sponsorships over £1,000 will be matched.
